Pafrugell, 1955

He studied Fine Arts at Escola Massana in Barcelona.

He is an outstanding landscape painter from Empordà, winner of numerous painting awards.

Plaja defines himself as a neorealist painter, and we would almost say neoimpressionist, because of his treatment of light and colors.

He interprets spaces that we can easily recognize in his works, with an exquisite mastery of light, line and color.
