Great reception of the exhibition “Trini, la Tonyina de l’Escala·

The Exhibition was inaugurated last July 31th

Last Saturday, July 31, the opening of the temporary exhibition of the illustrations by the artist Lluís Roura for the book “Trini, la Tonyina de l’Escala”, had a great attendance success.

This is the first exhibition of the renowned Empordà painter since 2017, which has raised great expectations.

The exhibition includes 15 works in oil on canvas in small format that have been created by the author to illustrate the storybook “Trini, la tuna de l’Escala”, where the authors want to pay tribute to the popular tuna “Trini” who visits the town of l’Escala every year around Christmas.

The uniqueness of this exhibition, in addition to showing this curious and emotional story to the public, is that it brings us a lesser-known side of Lluís Roura, besides the fact that, for the first time in 4 years, we have access to new artworks by the painter.

The exhibition, which is completed with three classic paintings by the artist, will be open to the public from the 1st to the 14th of August, from Monday to Friday from 11am to 2pm and from 6pm to 10pm.
